Win actions
The win actions apply to either your active (foreground) window, or all
visible windows.
There are many possible actions including:
- The useful Hide/Unhide, that hides a
window entirely, including from the task bar and task switch, quite handy if you
don't want your boss to see something ;-).
- The minimize to tray if you want to
minimize without cluttering your taskbar too much.
- Both actions above are available for the active window or all visible windows.
- Hiding / showing the Windows task bar by pressing the chosen hotkey.
- Tthe multi-screen action to swtich from one screen to another.
- The super paste action, which basically copies your clipboard into another,
internal, keyboard; pressing the key again will copy the content back into the
Windows clipboard; very handy when yuo want to copy something without losing
your current clipboard content.
- Snap up, down, left and right: resize and relocate your window to the specified
side of your screen; very useful to place two windows side by side on one
screen.
- The multi-screen maximise action maximize the window over all of your screen.
Tips:
-
Just try the various possbilities!
-
Having multiple actions for those that act on all visible windows is not very
useful; however it can be useful for the hide action on the foreground window,
in case you'd like to be able to do it for many windows. Indeed, the same hotkey
is used to hide and restore one window.
